Not too many R&B artists experience a 13-year gap between debuting and releasing a second album, but here’s, now known to a younger generation due to her presence on reality television series Braxton Family Values and talk show The Real.
On the Adult R&B airplay chart, Braxton’s title track, “Love and War,” spent nine weeks at No. 1 while follow-up “The One” ranks at No. 3 after spending the prior two weeks at No. 2.
She has earned 2014 Grammy nominations for Best R&B Performance, Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best R&B Song.
