CLIENT:
Concord Records is a leading independent music label within Concord Music Group, representing a diverse roster of acclaimed artists across multiple genres.
As the label prepared for the release of The Tipping Point, the first Tears for Fears studio album in nearly two decades, the team sought to reconnect with longtime fans while introducing the iconic duo to new audiences. The campaign required a strategic media approach that could drive awareness, engagement, streaming activity, and album sales before and after release.
SOLUTION:
TEC Direct Media developed a multi-channel digital campaign that combined video, display, social, and retail media tactics to engage music enthusiasts across the customer journey.
The strategy leveraged Connected TV, YouTube, display advertising, paid social, and audience retargeting to maintain momentum leading up to launch and throughout the album release period.
Following release, Amazon advertising was incorporated to drive purchases and provide clear attribution back to media performance.

RESULTS:
The Tipping Point achieved strong commercial success, debuting at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Alternative & Rock Albums chart, and No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart.
The integrated campaign successfully re-engaged established fans, generated awareness among new audiences, and helped drive measurable sales performance during a pivotal release for one of music’s most recognized acts.
